On Wednesday Nights, The Summit will meet at the new Impact Center located at 8729 Chapman Highway (map).

We will gather at “The Wall” as we continue our PRAYER Revival to pray for our church, our community, our county and our country!

These powerful nights will be marked with a brief time of worship followed by an intense time of prayer. We will pray OUTSIDE by standing at the wall and doing prayer walks on the sidewalk. Make sure you don’t miss this as we Impact our Community and we dare to “Redefine the way our community thinks about God and His people.”

What is an Encounter?
The Encounter is a Friday evening through Sunday morning intense experience designed to:

• Confront the things that hold us back from becoming all we can;
• Bring physical and emotional healing;
• Restore a sense of worth and value;
• Recapture a passion for God, marriage, family, church and employment;
• Set a woman on a track to enable her to profoundly impact others.

When, Where & How Much is Encounter?

• The Women’s Encounter will start at 7 PM on September 24th and continue through September 26th until around 11 AM.
• Women’s Encounter will be held at Smokey Mountain Christian Village in Pigeon Forge (Go to their website)
• The cost will be $50 per person. You must be at least 17 years old to attend. If you are 17 you must have parent/guardian release form signed.

Pre-Encounter is designed to prepare you for this life changing weekend. Pre-Encounter is a 4 week class that will help you better understand what you will experience at The Encounter weekend. The Women’s Pre-Encounter starts on August 29, 2010 at 7 PM. The cost for Pre-encounter is $10 and must be paid before or on August 29th.

We are broken in our hearts. It seems that no one is untouched by life’s pains and disappointments.

We are broken in our lives. Our homes are in shambles, our marriages are falling apart, our kids are growing up and we feel like we have failed in every area of our dreams. If anyone new the pain that went on behind our closed doors they would run us out-of-town.

Brokenness has invaded us from every direction and the worse part of living in it is wandering, “are some things broken beyond repair?”

In this very relevant message series Pastor Bryan McKnight will lead us down a road of restoration that God knows all too well. He will show us that with God, nothing is beyond repair and that restoration is the greatest joy we will ever experience. He will also show us that the only basis for real and lasting hope – about anything – is that Jesus died on the Cross for our sins, was buried in the tomb, and was raised from the dead on the third day, beginning the greatest Restoration project imaginable.

God is really blessing as we continue toward completion of our new Impact Center. We are walking in a new era of expectation and “Sub-Contractors” have now taken over the task from our volunteers to complete the Impact Center. We have a goal to celebrate our Grand Opening and 2 Year Anniversary in The Impact Center on October 10, 2010. Discover The Summit

Discover the Summit is The Summit’s Starting Point class that helps get you informed about The Summit’s Vision, Values, Beliefs and direction. This is a requirement for church membership but attendance does not obligate your to join. Discover the Summit is held every 4th Sunday night at 6PM @ Gondalier’s Restaurant located in South Knox.
